Easy event tips
Some final tips we’ve learned from catering for many events over our 20 years…!
- Less is more: consider hanging string lights or brightly coloured streamers to create a casual, yet elegant atmosphere.
- Don’t forget to check any rules surrounding noise in your suburb, and it would be a good idea to let the neighbours know – or even invite them!
- Check you have the facilities to host your guests for the evening – for example, consider hiring porta-loos! Which can be quite modern and nice these days!
- Provide cozy blankets to keep guests warm well into the night.
- Ensure you have a Plan B if the weather turns bad! Clear an area inside or provide stylish umbrellas. If the rain comes, turn it into a positive by planning some games that can be played indoors.
