At Cherry’s, many of our menus are suited to Perth weddings and engagement parties alongside other special events. Our most popular Wedding Catering Perth menu is our banquet dining menu, stand-up cocktail party or gourmet roast/buffet served in a buffet style. The majority of our high-quality menus can however be tailored to suit your catering needs and the best part is we do not impose a wedding catering surcharge. All our pricing is fully inclusive of GST.
With our banquet dining menu, we have a wide variety of dishes to create your preferred wedding catering menu. You can enjoy a gourmet two or three-course meal, with optional pre-dinner canapés from our cocktail menu.
Our wedding cocktail catering menu is also an excellent choice for your wedding reception, especially if you are having a small wedding party of close family and friends. Alternatively, our gourmet roast/buffet, which includes quality crockery, cutlery, and napkins, is also an available option for wedding catering in Perth.

While planning my wedding throughout 2018 and knowing that food is one of the biggest parts of any life event like this, I did extensive research into who I might get to cater my big day. To say that this research was frustrating and overwhelming is an understatement. I discovered some not so friendly service and a struggle to have people get back to me and answer all of my questions until I found Cherry’s.
I was blown away by their extensive range of meal style options from plated sit down meals, buffet-style or cocktail foods and their range of food items. I already knew I wanted a cocktail style wedding and had a few different dietary requirements of my guests, including vegans. With all of the options, I was able to choose a huge range of foods to cater for everyone and to stick within my budget. My search for a caterer was over!
When the day finally arrived, the service was seamless. Everything went off without a hitch, the staff were professional and friendly even seeking out my guests with dietary requirements to ensure they got the food catered for them and to make sure they reached all of my 120 guests, not just those nearest the kitchen. I had a lot of compliments throughout the night, and I was relaxed knowing my guests were happy, and everything was under control.

Do You Cater to Food Allergies?
Yes, we cater to all dietary restrictions and allergies. We can provide labels for vegan, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, nut-free, egg-free & other specific food allergies when needed. Please inform us beforehand so that we can accommodate all your needs.
What Style of Wedding Catering Should I Choose?
If you’d like your guests to be seated, then a plated meal is your best option. On the other hand, if you would prefer your guests to be mingling, you can go with an upstanding menu. Our Plated Meal options include Gourmet Roast Buffet, Banquet Dining and Set Menu Dining. Our Upstanding Menu options include Cocktail Finger Food and Platters/Grazing Boards.
How Long Are Staff Onsite for My Wedding?
For Buffet or Cocktail Parties, our Cherry’s staff will be onsite for 3 ½ hours, arriving 1hr before food service. For Banquet or Set Menu dining, staff hours will need to be quoted based on your specific requirements. We can tailor staff times and requirements around your specifications.
How Many Staff Are Required?
This will depend on your menu selection and final guest numbers. Typically, a Buffet or Cocktail Party for 60 guests will have 1 Chef and 2 Wait-Staff. A Banquet or a Set Menu for 60 guests will have 3 Chefs and 3 Wait-staff. PLEASE NOTE that staff quantity will be quoted according to your specific requirements.
Will There Be a Wedding Surcharge?
NO extra charge applies for wedding catering. At Cherry’s, we believe that your wedding day should be one of the happiest moments in your life and therefore we don’t want to surprise you with extra charges.
Does the Price Include Quality Crockery & Cutlery?
For a Cocktail Party, serving platters and napkins are included. Plates are not required but can be requested with an additional fee. For a Gourmet Roast Buffet, price includes crockery and cutlery. For a Banquet / Set Menu, please get in touch with our staff on (08) 9248 5336 for additional fee POA.
Can I Add In Pre-Dinner Canapés?
Yes, there are a couple of options for pre-dinner canapes such as Cocktail Finger Food and Platter / Grazing Boards. Get in touch with our Cherry’s staff on (08) 9248 5336 to discuss your options and get a personalised quote.
Can I Incorporate Drinks Service With the Food?
Yes, you can! At Cherry’s, we have our own liquor licence enabling us to supply and serve you and your guests a variety of drinks. Check out our Drinks Packages menu and then get in touch with our staff on (08) 9248 5336 to discuss your options and get a personalised quote.
Will You Dress the Tables?
We can dress your tables provided that you arrange for the service beforehand. Alternatively, you are welcome to collect the cutlery and the napkins a few days before your big day, if you have someone from your party to dress the tables.
Do You Supply Napkins and Utensils?
Generally, most menu types include a disposable 2ply Cherry’s white napkin with a printed Cherry’s logo. However, you can upgrade to white linen POA or other colours. Will You Cut Our Wedding Cake?

What Dessert Options Can I Choose From?
Our event catering is inclusive of desserts such as cakes, pastries, ice cream and fruits. Visit our menu page to see which desserts are included in our catering packages. For specific dessert requests, get in touch with our Cherry’s staff on (08) 9248 5336 to discuss your options.
Will There Be Additional Fees for Equipment?
Additional fees will apply depending on your menu selection and the availability of equipment on the event site. For a Cocktail Party, we require a kitchen setup with bench space and an oven. For Banquet Dining or Set Menu, we will need a full kitchen onsite to operate from. If these are not available, Cherry’s will be bringing our own equipment for an additional price.

A: We cater mostly to Perth-Metro and surrounding suburbs, including Bayswater, Fremantle, Joondalup, Malaga, Mandurah, Midland, Morley, Mount Pleasant, South Guildford, South Perth, Wangara, Wanneroo and Welshpool among others. How Can I Place My Order?
