The Cherry’s Phenomenon: how we have thrived and survived 24 years of business

For a whopping 24 years, we’ve been serving the people of Perth (pun intended).

It’s been an incredible journey and we’ve certainly had our highlights.

How have we not only survived, but thrived in business during almost a quarter of a century?

What Keeps Customers Coming Back to Cherry’s

Toast at Cherry'sCherry’s Catering is proud to have built and sustained a thriving Perth catering business. What do we think has led to our success?

First off, we’ve got an unwavering passion for what we do. We eat, sleep, and breathe catering.

But it’s not just about the food. Our service standards are high – with Cherry’s it’s always easy to book your catering, as we have a really friendly and professional team.

We’ve also learned to adapt over the years, and we’ve managed to stay ahead of the game by embracing every change or new trend in our industry.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing customers. We’ve built strong relationships with our clients, listening to their needs, and going the extra mile to deliver top-notch service. From small, intimate gatherings to grand corporate events, we treat each occasion as if it were our own, ensuring that every detail is taken care of with meticulous precision.

As we celebrate 24 years in the business, we’re grateful for every moment, every event, and every smiling face we’ve had the pleasure to serve. We’re ready to tackle the next 24 years and beyond, bringing our passion, adaptability, and unbeatable flavours to the people of Perth.

Highlights from our team

We might be celebrating 24 years in business, but don’t worry, we’re not going to write 24 highlights! We’ve managed to summarise a few top highlights from recent years of catering in Perth:

We have been catering for our very good friends at Lynn & Brown Lawyers for over 16 years! Their quarterly networking soirees are referred to as “One of the best networking catchups in Perth – the original soiree”

And then there’s Sandalford Winery who we’ve been working with since 2016.

We are lucky to cater for many weddings each year, but a big highlight this year was being the chosen caterer for Jen & Dave (our sister and brother-in-laws) wedding at Aintree Cottage.

Of course, we must also mention the beautiful Tasha who once worked with us at Cherry’s Catering. When she married Sam, we were proud and honoured to cater for the big event.

Cherry’s name is more well known and respected now than ever – we continue to get repeat and referral clients as well as referrals from Facebook forums and Google.

We are proud to have over 110 wonderful 5-star Google reviews and over 105 lovely 5-star Facebook reviews.

We love working with the Swan Chamber of Commerce and you can see more about their events here and here.

Our continued relationship with the Wanneroo Business Association (WBA) is also very important to us. The WBA run many great events and support local business owners in many ways. You can read more about their events here and here.

The City of Joondalup’s Community Art Awards was a really great event, and we really enjoyed putting together the individual lunches and dinners for the St Augustine’s College Sydney Rowing Team at the 2023 Australian Rowing Championships.

And here is our blog from 2021 which also covers some more of our highlights over the years https://cherryscatering.com.au/22-years-of-business-why-people-keep-coming-back-to-cherrys/
